This website is dedicated to the courage, compromise,
and memory of the men who served during the
Korean War and in particular to the 1st Marine Division.

I am grateful to the four men who I interviewed for this project.

I would like to thank the men who volunteer as Docents at the Legion of Valor, for their dedication maintaining the memory of the "Forgotten War."

Finally, to James Young, my grandfather, who served at the
Chosin Reservoir Conflict and inspired this History Day Project.
